Volvo commits to fully electric and fully online sales by 2030

Volvo, the Swedish car company has announced it’s plans to only offer fully electric vehicles by 2030, in line with many other auto manufacturers. It also announced it’s plan to only sell directly online to consumers.

Volvo has lead the industry with “car subscription” services that are ordered online, as an alternative to long term car rental or leasing. Buyers pay per month for an all-inclusive subscription style (including insurance, but not fuel) experience.

Volvo also announced its new electric cross over, the C40 Recharge featuring LED matrix headlights.
